Dear Fellow Martial Artists

It is with sad news and a heavy heart I inform you of the passing of Hanshi Ridgely Abele. Mr. Abele died this past Thursday after a long illness. He was the founder and head instructor of the Columbia School of Karate Do in Columbia, South Carolina.
His contributions to the martial arts community are immeasurable. His loss saddens us all. To his family and friends please accept my sincere condolences. Please know he is now with the greatest teacher of all, Almighty God. Mr. Abele is ok.
